A voluntary Board of Directors governs Dimensions Healthcare System and each of its affiliated facilities and operations. The Board of Directors is firmly committed to assuring quality care and patient safety. Neil J. Moore
President and CEO
Mr. Moore joined Dimensions Healthcare System in October 2005. He is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the System. His experience in an executive leadership health care role spans more than two decades. Prior to joining Dimensions, Mr. Moore was the Chief Financial Officer at Harlem Hospital Center, a division of Generations Plus Network. He has worked at other health care facilities in the New York City area including Kings County Hospital, Woodhull Medical & Mental Health Center, Dr. Susan Smith McKinney Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and East New York Ambulatory Care Center. Mr. Moore received an MBA in Finance from New York Institute of Technology and an MPA in Public Administration and Finance from Long Island University. Mr. Moore has also studied Public Policy at New York University (NYU). He obtained his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph College with a concentration in Accounting and Human Resources. He is a member of several organizations which include National Association of Health Services Executives, American College of Healthcare Executives, and National Association of Public Hospitals and Healthcare Finance Management Association.
Sherry B. Perkins, Ph.D. RN
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Dr. Perkins joined Dimensions Healthcare System (DHS) in April 2016 as executive vice president and chief operating officer. She has more than 30 years of clinical and healthcare operations experience. Prior to joining DHS, she served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) in Annapolis, MD. Prior to becoming COO, she was the chief nursing officer for AAMC. Before joining AAMC, Dr. Perkins spent 15 years in progressive leadership roles at University of Maryland Medical Center mostly focused on clinical effectiveness and patient care. Due to an extensive and impressive healthcare career, Dr. Perkins is a sought after speaker and belongs to numerous professional organizations, such as both of the American and Maryland Nurse Associations, the American College of Healthcare Executives and both the American and Maryland Organization of Nurse Executives.
Dr. Perkins holds a doctorate in nursing from the University of Kansas, a master’s in nursing from Texas Women’s University and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She completed the Johnson and Johnson Wharton Fellows Program in Management for Nurse Executives at the University of Pennsylvania.
