Dimensions Healthcare System Announces Management Changes

CHEVERLY, MD -- In support of the ongoing transformation of Dimensions Healthcare System, Patrick F. Mutch, President & CEO and Noel A. Cervino, Executive Vice President & CFO have stepped down from their leadership positions. The Board of Directors of Dimensions Healthcare System (DHS) will announce the appointment of both an interim President & CEO and interim CFO in the near future. Both Mr. Mutch and Mr. Cervino will participate in the transition process to ensure a smooth changeover. "On behalf of the entire Board of Directors we are sincerely grateful to Mr. Mutch and Mr. Cervino for their leadership and commitment during the past year and throughout their service of over 14 years to Dimensions Healthcare System and the community," said Mr. Calvin Brown, Chairman of the DHS Board of Directors. Mr. Brown goes on to state, "The Board of Directors and the current management team view this measure as a necessary step for improving financial strength of the organization and building towards a successful future."

This change follows the engagement of Cambio Health Solutions, a national hospital system turnaround firm, by the DHS Board of Directors to assist in the creation of a financial plan for the long-term stability of the organization and the development of a strategic plan.

Dimensions Healthcare System is the largest not-for-profit health care system in Prince George's County. Dimensions Healthcare System treats approximately 200,000 patients annually and includes Prince George's Hospital Center, Laurel Regional Hospital, Bowie Health Center, Dimensions Surgery Center and Gladys Spellman Specialty Hospital and Nursing Center.
