Our labor and delivery suites are decorated and furnished with all the comforts of home. A team of nurses, doctors, midwives and assistants helps monitor progress, comfort, coach and take good care of every mother and child, 24 hours a day.

Not only do we offer the latest in medical technology, but we also have a specially trained staff to provide preemies and sick babies with the intensive care they need. We also have the only designated (level III) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Southern Maryland. Equipped with the latest monitoring systems and a specially trained staff, this 18-bed intensive care facility cares for preemies and sick babies as small as 500 grams.

During her stay, our staff teaches each new mom the basics of feeding, bathing and diapering her newborn so she can go home with confidence in her abilities. We also recommend that new moms and dads take our parenting classes before and after birth. These cover important skills such as breastfeeding and infant CPR.
