Board of Directors

A voluntary Board of Directors governs Dimensions Healthcare System and each of its affiliated facilities and operations. The Board of Directors is firmly committed to assuring quality care and patient safety. Members of the Board devote countless hours of service to the governance of the system and consist of the following individuals:

Executive Team

Neil J. Moore

President and CEO

Mr. Moore joined Dimensions Healthcare System in October 2005. He is the Acting President and Chief Executive Officer of the System. His experience in an executive leadership health care role spans more than two decades. Prior to joining Dimensions, Mr. Moore was the Chief Financial Officer at Harlem Hospital Center, a division of Generations Plus Network. He has worked at numerous other health care facilities in the New York City area including Kings County Hospital, Woodhull Medical & Mental Health Center, Dr. Susan Smith McKinney Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and East New York Ambulatory Care Center. Mr. Moore received an MBA in Finance from New York Institute of Technology and an MPA in Public Administration and Finance from Long Island University. Mr. Moore has also studied Public Policy at New York University (NYU). He obtained his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph College with a concentration in Accounting and Human Resources. He is a member of several organizations which include National Association of Health Services Executives, American College of Healthcare Executives, and National Association of Public Hospitals and Healthcare Finance Management Association.

John A. O’Brien

Chief Operating Officer, Dimensions Healthcare System
President, Prince George’s Hospital Center

Mr. O’Brien joined Dimensions Healthcare System as Chief Operating Officer and became President of Prince George’s Hospital Center in 2005. Prior to that, Mr. O’Brien was Vice President, Operations/Partner at HPAS, Inc., a physician management company for functional specialty of hospital medicine. Mr. O’Brien has served in executive leadership positions at several acute care hospitals, including Harper Hospital, Detroit, MI; Hamot Health Foundation, Erie, PA; University Health Network, Pittsburgh, PA and Presbyterian-University Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. O’Brien received his master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from University of Minnesota and his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Pennsylvania State University. Mr. O’Brien is a member of the Maryland Association of Healthcare Executives and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
