A voluntary Board of Directors governs Dimensions Healthcare System and each of its affiliated facilities and operations. The Board of Directors is firmly committed to assuring quality care and patient safety. Neil J. Moore
President and CEO
Mr. Moore joined Dimensions Healthcare System in October 2005. He is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the System. His experience in an executive leadership health care role spans more than two decades. Prior to joining Dimensions, Mr. Moore was the Chief Financial Officer at Harlem Hospital Center, a division of Generations Plus Network. He has worked at other health care facilities in the New York City area including Kings County Hospital, Woodhull Medical & Mental Health Center, Dr. Susan Smith McKinney Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and East New York Ambulatory Care Center. Mr. Moore received an MBA in Finance from New York Institute of Technology and an MPA in Public Administration and Finance from Long Island University. Mr. Moore has also studied Public Policy at New York University (NYU). He obtained his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph College with a concentration in Accounting and Human Resources. He is a member of several organizations which include National Association of Health Services Executives, American College of Healthcare Executives, and National Association of Public Hospitals and Healthcare Finance Management Association.
John H. Spearman
Mr. Spearman joined Laurel Regional Hospital in July 2012 as president and chief operating officer. He has more than 20 years of progressive healthcare experience at an academic medical center, teaching hospital and physician association. Prior to joining Dimensions, Mr. Spearman served as the senior vice president of global affairs for University of Maryland Medical System. He arrived at the University of Maryland Medical System in 1997 as the director of strategic planning and marketing for Shock Trauma and within three years became vice president for the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, overseeing operational and fiscal management of the 104-bed trauma hospital with more than 450 employees and an operating budget of $133 million.
Mr. Spearman received an MBA from Loyola University Maryland. He focuses on key business drivers and develops innovative strategies to positively impact growing organizations. He specializes in trauma and emergency care services, as well as domestic and international healthcare system development. He is a member of several organizations and boards, and committed to the Greater Laurel community.
