You may have seen our Trauma Center on the national news. Our survival rate is among the best in the nation, and our trauma center is one of the busiest in the state of Maryland.

All Emergency and Trauma physicians are Board Certified. We have specially trained trauma surgeons on staff 24 hours a day, as well as a team of ER/Trauma nurses, technicians and other specialists.

We have also developed and host the Shock Trauma Mentor Program, which is nationally recognized, for young people to observe the hard realties of what violence, drugs, alcohol, and dangerous driving can do to the human body. This is done under strict supervision within the Trauma Resucitation Area.

Of course, many patients who visit our Emergency Department are not in life-threatening condition.

So, in addition to the Trauma Center, we offer a full-range of emergency-care services.
