Foundation Information

Background:
The Bowie Health Center Foundation was established in 1996 for the exclusive charitable purpose of benefiting the Bowie Health Center. The Foundation Board is comprised of 18 dedicated community members and business leaders who work tirelessly to raise funds for urgently needed equipment and programs.

Purchases Made Possible Through Generous Contributions:
April 2000 - $40,000 for cardiac monitoring equipment
July 2000 - $40,000 for anesthesia monitoring equipment
January 2002 - $80,000 for renovation and expansion of Nightlight Pediatric Care
August 2002 - $11,362 for ENT equipment for Dimensions Surgery Center
November 2003 - $8,200 for emergency department medications carts
December 2004 - $2,921.40 for emergency department icemaker/filtration system
March 2005 - $70,400 for ophthalmology equipment for Dimensions Surgery Center
