The Wound Care Center at Laurel Regional Hospital brings together a multi-specialty team of experienced doctors and nurses who combine knowledge in all areas of wound management. Together they offer comprehensive wound treatment with an overall healing rate of over 94 percent for patients who complete treatment based on outcomes measurement data. Benefits of the Wound Care Center's approach to healing includes a high level of limb in severe wounds, earlier recovery, and prevention of prolonged and/or permanent disability. Patients are able to see different specialists within our multi disciplinary wound care Physician panel.
