Cardiac Care At Prince George's Hospital Center, care of the heart -- like the organ itself -- is one of a kind. We offer a full range of cardiac services from diagnostics including catheterizations, to angioplasties, open-heart surgeries and cardiac rehabilitation.
At our Chest Pain Center, specially trained staff use state-of-the-art equipment to monitor, diagnose and evaluate chest pain, irregular heartbeats and other symptoms in a timely, cost-effective manner.
Housed within a new $20 million Pavilion are the cardiac surgical suites and the cardiac catheterization laboratories. As you might expect, the Pavilion is equipped with the latest medical technology, advanced surgical suites and monitoring equipment. It has also been designed to provide patients and their families with privacy, dignity and comfort.
In the last five years, the Hospital Center has performed invasive cardiac surgeries, cardiac catheterizations, open-heart surgeries and angioplasties, making it a leading regional center for cardiac care and the only hospital in Prince George's County performing angioplasty and open-heart surgery.
