NEW VISITOR GUIDELINES DURING FLU SEASON ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() About The Senior Health CenterSenior Health Center The Senior Health Center, under the medical direction of a board-certified family practice and geriatric medicine physician, provides primary and continuing comprehensive medical and nursing services. These services are provided to Prince George's County residents 55 years and older who are in need of personalized healthcare. Services are provided to persons with disabilities as well to persons of low and moderate levels of income. The Senior Health Center is funded by a grant from Prince George's County and managed by Gladys Spellman Specialty Hospital and Nursing Center, an affiliate of Dimensions Healthcare System. Free transportation to the Senior Health Center from many areas in Prince George's County is available upon request. The following are some of the services provided at the Senior Health Center:These services are designed to meet the needs of seniors in a comfortable and safe environment. Our staff involves patients and families in the health care process with an emphasis on education, preventive and medical treatment. Hours of OperationMonday and Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. DirectionsTake Rte. 202 (Landover Road) West which merges with route 450. Continue West through Bladensburg. Bear left at Peace Cross continue on Bladensburg Road. Make right turn onto Rte. 208 (38th Ave.). Proceed on 38th Avenue across Rhode Island Avenue. Make left onto Taylor Street. The Senior Health Center is at the top of the hill on left at the proceed to the Cora B. Wood Senior Multi-purpose Center . |
